Services & Capabilities
What kinds of projects do you work on?
We work on film, television, sports, and advertising projects that require professional audio post-production, including sound design, music composition, voice work, and mixing.
Do you handle sound design and music composition?
Yes. Sound design and music composition are core parts of our work and are developed in direct relationship to picture, story, and pacing.
Do you provide ADR recording?
Yes. We provide ADR recording as part of our post-production workflow, integrated directly into the edit and mix when projects require it.
Do you record voiceover?
Yes. We handle voiceover recording as part of professional audio post-production projects, including commercial, promotional, sports, and long-form narration work.
Can voiceover sessions be directed live?
Yes. Live-directed voiceover is part of our day-to-day work and is handled with the same creative intent and technical discipline as the rest of the mix.
What audio mixing formats do you deliver in?

Voice, ADR & Remote Sessions
Do you work with remote voice talent?
Yes. We regularly record remote voice talent using professional tools such as Source Connect, including sessions where talent, producers, and clients are all in different locations.
Can remote talent be directed live?
Yes. Remote voice talent can be directed live in real time, whether the talent is connected remotely or in the studio, and whether producers are attending locally or remotely.
Is remote recording treated differently than in-studio sessions?
No. Remote sessions are handled with the same creative standards and technical discipline as in-studio work and are integrated directly into the edit and mix.
Do you record audiobooks?
Yes. The studio has extensive credits handling long-form narration projects that require performance consistency, editorial discipline, and strict technical standards. Learn more about our audiobook production services.
What is Source Connect?
Source Connect is a professional peer-to-peer audio bridge that sends broadcast-quality audio between studios in real time. We use Source Connect Pro on every remote session.
Can you direct voiceover sessions in Spanish?
Yes. We offer bilingual English and Spanish voice direction in-house — no third-party interpreters required.
Technical & Workflow
How should I prepare my files for audio post-production?
For Premiere or Resolve projects, export an AAF with embedded audio and handles. We have step-by-step guides for Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. If you're unsure, send what you have and we'll advise.
What file formats do you deliver?
We deliver in any format your project requires — WAV, broadcast WAV, MP3, and platform-specific specs for ACX, streaming, broadcast, and theatrical distribution.
How quickly can you turn around a voiceover session?
Many directed voiceover sessions are recorded, edited, and delivered same day. Turnaround for larger projects depends on scope — contact us to discuss your timeline.
Are your facilities secure for pre-release content?
Yes. Dallas Audio Post holds TPN Gold Shield certification, Dolby certification, and ISO 9001 certification. We maintain controlled facility access, secured storage, and strict chain-of-custody protocols. Learn more on our company page.
Logistics & Fit
Do you work with picture reference?
Yes. We specialize in projects that involve picture reference, timing considerations, and delivery requirements tied to final picture.
Do you handle mixing and final delivery?
Yes. We provide dialogue editing and re-recording mixing and deliver projects to defined schedules and technical specifications for broadcast, theatrical, and platform release.
Are you a podcast recording studio?
No. We focus on audio post-production for film, television, sports, and advertising. We are not a podcast studio.
Where are you located?
Dallas Audio Post is based in Carrollton, Texas, and services Dallas and Fort Worth while working with both local and remote clients.
Do you only work with local clients?
No. While many projects involve local teams, we regularly work with producers, agencies, and creatives based outside the region.
How does pricing work?
Rates vary by service type. Voiceover sessions, ADR, mixing, and audiobook production are each priced based on scope and duration. Visit our services and rates page for current pricing.
What time zone are you in?
We're in the Central Time Zone (CT), which gives us overlap with both coasts — early enough for LA and late enough for New York — making same-day coordination easy for agencies nationwide.
Can I visit the studio before booking?
Yes. We're happy to arrange a tour. View our studio photos online or contact us to schedule an in-person visit.
