Roy Machado is the Creative Director and Chief Engineer for Dallas Audio Post.
With over two decades of experience in film, television and advertising production, Roy has brought well-rounded knowledge to clients including ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox TV, ESPN, Netflix, Universal Pictures, and Sony Pictures as well as to corporate clients including Pepsi, Sam’s Club, Penguin Random House, Unilever, AT&T and BP . Roy specializes in large scale media deployments: political advertising campaigns, national advertising campaigns and episodic TV shows seen by audiences across the globe. His Spanish/English bilingual skills facilitate these productions in both languages.
As the leader of the Dallas Audio Post team, Roy continues to expand his knowledge in all aspects of audio and post- production. He studied music performance and composition as well as radio/television and film at the University of North Texas. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, Texas Motion Picture Alliance and The Society of Professional Recording Arts Services. He enjoys playing the guitar, working out, and spending time with his family.
