Dallas Audio Post — Building exterior, Carrollton TX

Ground-up construction designed by Francis Manzella of FM Design Group in New York. Built for flexibility, integration, and quality.

Studio Rooms & Capabilities

Dallas Audio Post operates five paired control rooms and recording spaces — designed by Francis Manzella of FM Design Group — covering theatrical mixing, voiceover, ADR, audiobook narration, and music composition. Each room is calibrated for its workflow and configured for picture-locked playback when needed.

Dolby Atmos Mix Stage

Calibrated theatrical mixing environment with an Avid S6 console, 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos monitoring, and a full Pro Tools HDX system. Used for feature films, episodic series, and high-end documentary final mixes.

Comfortable producer/director seating sits behind the mix position with clear sightlines to the screen and console, so clients can monitor in real time during final mix sessions. See related services: Mixing, Audio Mixing, and Sound Design.

Control A & Booth A — Voiceover Suite

Control A is our primary voiceover recording suite, with video sync for picture-locked playback and a direct line-of-sight to Booth A. Spacious, quiet, and comfortable — a favorite with talent and directors.

Booth A is acoustically treated and paired directly with Control A. Used primarily for voiceover and commercial voiceover sessions, it includes a music stand, headphone amp, and talkback. Pair it with Remote Session Engineering for directed sessions from anywhere.

Control B & Booth B — Mix & Editorial Suite

Control B is a dedicated mix, editorial, and music composition suite with stereo monitoring, Pro Tools HDX, and a full sound editorial toolkit. Handles dialogue editing, stereo mixes, music production, and broadcast deliverables.

Booth B is the largest recording booth in the facility — paired with Control B and sized for loop group, ensemble sessions, and complex multi-performer setups in addition to standard corporate narration and voiceover work.

Control C & Booth C — ADR Suite

Control C is our third editorial and mixing suite, handling overflow sessions, dialogue editing, and independent mixing workflows alongside Control B.

Booth C is the ADR-focused recording booth — paired with Control C and configured for sync-critical dialogue replacement with video monitor, cue light, and headphone mix. The room handles ADR recording for television and film projects.

Control D & Booth D — Audiobook Suite

Control D is where most audiobooks are recorded — a fully capable voiceover suite with complete connectivity, optimized for long-form narration workflows. Comfortable monitoring, punch-and-roll editing, and a QC toolchain are built into the session template.

Booth D is the audiobook narration booth — whisper-quiet, with an ergonomic narrator setup including adjustable music stand, studio chair, and low-reflection surfaces for clean, consistent recordings. Also used for audiobook production finishing work.
